The Global 500 Programme is an endeavour to establish transparent, robust data in order to ensure real estate performance on a global level. Real Estate Directors and Facility Managers are increasingly asked to make property decisions globally. Over the next three years, our aim is to move from producing global quartile data to measuring efficiency and effectiveness of property on a global level.

The key cities are selected based on the locations of our participants’ buildings. We are currently establishing data sets in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dubai, Singapore and Hong Kong. This programme will not only supply participating organisations with global benchmarks but will also provide an overview of different business practice in each region, country or city.

This programme provides a platform for national and regional teams to come together in order to communicate global best practice. Key city reports are followed by a presentation were peers and colleagues meet to discuss how this data is interpreted. Through these meetings relationships are formed, global best practice is established and the importance of robust, transparent data collection is acknowledged.
